On your way to or from Whistler, you pass by Brackendale. Approximately half of the world's 70,000 bald eagles reside in Alaska and combined with B.C.'s population of 20,000, the Northwest Coast of North America has the greatest stronghold. At Brackendale, you can get a coffee and muffin and sit on the banks of the river and watch these majestic birds or take a stroll through the Brackendale Art Gallery.

You can even spend a night in Brackendale and take a pleasant raft trip down the river past the eagles. You will get up to 10 feet away from the eagles. Make sure you bring your cameras! After your eagle raft trip, you will return for a mid day meal included with your eagle adventure.
